Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Capy Quest for using our app and website. They're written to be readable — please take a moment with them. By creating an account or using Capy Quest, you agree to what's below.

1. Who can use Capy Quest

Accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian who is at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where they live). Children use Capy Quest under that parent's supervision, through a kid code the parent creates. If you're setting up Capy Quest for your family, you confirm you have the authority to do so and to enter information about your children.

2. Your account and family codes

• You're responsible for keeping your login details and your family's kid codes reasonably private.
• You're responsible for activity that happens under your account and your family's codes.
• Tell us promptly if you believe someone has gained unauthorized access to your account.

3. Acceptable use

When using Capy Quest, please don't:

• Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or that you don't have the right to share.
• Attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Use the service to collect information about other people without permission.
• Misuse the app in any way that could harm a child or another user.

4. Your content

Quests, tasks, photos, and other content you add stay yours. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, process, and display that content so the app can work for your family (for example, showing a proof photo to a parent for approval). You're responsible for the content you and your family add, and you confirm you have the right to add it.

5. Coins and rewards

Coins earned in Capy Quest are a virtual, in-app reward. They have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred outside the app. What coins are worth inside your family — screen time, a treat, a trip to the park — is entirely up to you.

6. Service availability

We work to keep Capy Quest running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may update, change, or discontinue features over time.

7. Disclaimers

Capy Quest is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Capy Quest will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Termination

You can stop using Capy Quest and delete your account at any time (see Data Deletion). We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, or if needed to protect users or the service.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. Continuing to use Capy Quest after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
